Sweet Dream In A Bag.org is an organization committed to help displaced children feel loved and cared for by providing basic new comfortable bedding with a small stuffed animal and a few other personal items. We also provide a vinyl bag to carry their twin sheets, comforter, pillow, and a blanket for moving their personal belongings to transitional and permanent housing. Our Organization's Vision
Sweet Dream In A Bag.org is a non-profit organization, recongized by the IRS as a Charitable Organization, committed to the vision that every child should have the basic comfortable bedding that they choose for their own.
We Serve
We partner with different local community agencies. We are presently working with 10 different transitional housing agencies. There are hundreds of children just in these 10 agencies who could be encouraged and blessed by receiving their own "Sweet Dream" Bag.

Our Program
Sweet Dream In A Bag.org provides a pillow, twin set of sheets, blanket and comforter in a reusable vinyl zippered bag that will fit under the child's bed. If the family has to move the child will just place their bedding back in the vinyl bag and take it with them.
The unique thing about our program is that the child gets to choose the bedding from our inventory and we then personalize the bag with their name. We also include an encouraging short story that is personalized with each child's name. A bag also includes a toothbrush, toothpaste and a small stuffed animal. All bedding is new. The bags are distributed to children who are being relocated to transitional or permanent housing.
Impact
Empowering, but not enabling families in need, is a goal of this ministry. We hope each child will have some understanding of their self-worth and value to God who loves and cares for them and has not forgotten them. We provide bedding with the idea that each child is extremely special and significant. This ministry hopes to make each child's living situation a little more pleasant by providing some comfort and order to their lives.
Funding
All funds for purchasing the articles for the bags are donated by people who are committed to helping children in need. People may donate cash for the purchase of bedding items. See "How to Help" for more information.
All donations are tax-deductible. Sweet Dream In A Bag will provide each person with a tax-deductible receipt.
All funds are used directly and entirely for Sweet Dream In A Bag.org for the good of the children we serve. No leaders, workers or volunteers receive a salary from Sweet Dream In A Bag.org.
